autodesk announces 3dsmax 9

uh, it’s going fast with 3dsmax: i nearly can’t play around with every new feature introduced in the most recent release of my beloved 3d package. so, now there’s a fresh new version coming: it’s already the ninth generation. i’m especially interested in: 64 bit (!) version, mental ray 3.5 (hooray), layered animation (yummi!) and polyspeed (can’t believe it! is this true?); don’t miss the new feature videos. when i read the upcoming features, why do i always think i can’t work anymore with the release i’m currently working with?
